The computer networking program is designed to help accelerate your entrance into the IT field. This program will introduce you to different operating systems and teach you how to repair computers as well as how to plan, build, and troubleshoot a network.
Skills for Your Future
The courses taught in this program could provide the skills necessary to take Microsoft certification exams, the CompTIA A+ and Net+ exams, and MCP.* This program consists of a minimum of 50.0 quarter credit hours completed over four terms. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate.
Those wishing to continue their studies in networking may easily transfer to the degree program and earn an Associate of Arts in Computer Networking.
* However, the College cannot guarantee your eligibility either to take this exam or become certified. Your eligibility may depend on your work experience, completion of high school (or its equivalent), not having a criminal record, meeting other licensure or certification requirements, or the program or College itself having appropriate accreditation or licensure. Externship sites may themselves require a criminal background check or medical examination.
