Associate of Arts


To succeed in the diverse world of interior design, you need the technical skills, creativity, and flexibility that Bauder College can offer. Our program will introduce you to the creative and technical processes that could help you pursue an entry-level position in interior design. You can learn how to effectively communicate with clients and vendors by using industry-recognized visual tools, strategic planning, and effective problem-solving techniques. The interior design program at Bauder College is designed to teach you how to do this and more.

Professional Avenues

As a graduate of this program, you may seek entry-level positions in interior design and related fields, including interior design assistant, residential and commercial design assistant, home furnishings coordinator, contractor and/or builder's assistant, model home merchandiser, and CADD operator. Additional opportunities for interior design graduates are found in both the retail and wholesale industries as manufacturers' representatives, showroom personnel, and in furniture sales.
