Transfer of Credit
International Students | Process | Transfer of Credit

If you have education, training, or work experience relevant to the program in which you enroll, you may be eligible to receive credit for prior learning. Bauder College will evaluate your request and determine whether credit can be applied toward your program requirements. Although Bauder College cannot guarantee the transferability of credit from any of these sources, we will consider:

  • Credit earned through the College-Level Examination ProgramĀ® (CLEP)
  • Military training and work experience (experiential learning)
  • Credit earned from accredited postsecondary institutions
  • Various certification exams

Students applying for credit in any of the categories described above must complete a Credit for Previous Education, Training, Work Experience (experiential learning), or CLEP form and submit official transcripts, course descriptions, and other supporting documentation prior to the first day of the course as required on the form.

Upon evaluation of official transcript(s) from your prior schools, credit may be awarded for courses successfully completed with a grade of "C" or better at another accredited postsecondary institution where course content and credit values are comparable to those offered by Bauder College. Transcripts from foreign institutions must be translated into English, and courses must meet the same requirements as domestic institutions to be considered for transfer credit.

You can use prior learning credit for up to 50 percent of your program requirements. If you are transferring from another Kaplan Higher Education institution, you must complete at least 25 percent of the course credit at Bauder College to graduate.
